Having Trouble?? Here are some tips to try and help you resolve the problem.

1. Is the STB turned off?

Many times the STB is turned off by mistake. To resolve this, just hit the power button on the Amino remote and then the STB button.

2. Has the channel on the TV changed?

If your Amino remote has been configured to control your TV, it is possible the channel on the TV has been changed. To resolve this, press the TV button on the Amino remote, and then, depending on how the STB is connected to the TV: if coax, then select either channel 03 or 04, if A/V, then select the A/V button on the Amino remote until you are on the A/V port of your TV that the STB is plugged into.

3. Have the cables come unplugged?

Make sure the cables are plugged in the STB and the TV. There should be an ethernet cable from the DSL modem to the STB and an A/V or coax cable leaving the STB and connected to the TV.

4. Is the TV pixelizing, tiling, or any other visual problem?

The STBs operate using ethernet cables or coax to carry data over the DSL line. Because of this, there could be occasional pixelization. However, if it is occurring often, then a good trouble shooting tip is to reboot the STB by unplugging the power cable on the back of it or reboot the DSL modem using the on/off toggle button on the back. It generally takes a few minutes to finish the reboot process.
