1. Click on the Start Menu (the Windows logo in the lower left corner)
2. Select Connect To
a. If Connect To is not an option, select Control Panel
i. If using Control Panel Home, under Network and Internet, select Connect to the Internet
1. Create a new connection
2. Select Dial-up
3. Enter the Mintel Information
a. Dial up Number: 2965600
b. Username
c. Password
d. Rename the Connection to Mintel
e. Hit Connect
ii. If using Classic View, select Network and Sharing Center, and select Set up a Connection or network
1. Select Create a Dial-up Connection and hit next
2. Enter the Mintel Information
a. Dial up Number: 2965600
b. Username
c. Password
d. Rename the Connection to Mintel
e. Hit Connect

3. Select Set up a Connection on Network at the bottom of window
4. Select Set up a Dial-up Connection and hit next
5. Enter in the Mintel Information
a. Dial-up Number: 2965600
b. Username
c. Password
d. Rename the Connection to Mintel
e. Hit Connect

**Always make sure your Dial-up modem has a telephone wire plugged into the correct port
before starting this procedure.
